Congratulations to former SKB player Aaron Byrne who was part of the Dublin Under 21 All Ireland winning team last Saturday against Galway.
Aaron Byrne was part of a very good SKB team from Under 12 upwards who took part in the first Academy Cup in 2009 and quite a number of that team have made successful careers in sport such as Cian Lynch who is one of the top young hurlers in the country with Limerick, Aaron himself is hoping to break into the Dublin Senior team and other team mates such as Alex O'Hanlon, Jack Byrne, Eoghan Stokes, Ben Green, Sean Heaney, Ryan Robinson and Lloyd Buckley who are all enjoying successful careers at different levels of the game.
And the manager of that team - Joe Quinn - continues to be involved at the top level of the schoolboy game with yet another group of excellent players in our current DDSL Under 13 group.
