SKFC finally gained the only major schoolboy trophy that has eluded them since the club was founded when our under 18 premier team overcame a resolute challenge from Pike Rovers to win the FAI Youth Cup 3-0 at Whitehall.
Taking control early in the game Ilya Bendakovs scored the opener which was followed ten minutes later by a second from Idris Ilafimiham to leave it 2-0 at half time. Karl Hearns made it safe with the third goal to register the clubs first victory in the competition after three previous final defeats.
The history making squad are;
Calvin Fennelly, Sean Curran, Luke Bolton, Logan O'Connell (Captain), Adetunji Olusaya, Luke O'Connor, Idris Olafimiham, Evan McGee, Ilya Bednakovs, Thalagaa Segoapa, Calum Doolan, Alister Anith, Karl Hearns, Aaron Omoruyi, Sean O'Keeffe, Charlie Connolly, Marcus O'Keeffe, Sam Dunne.
The team was led and managed superbly by the managemant group of ; Greg Victory, Ciaran Burke, Carl O'Reilly and Terry Concannon.
