12.5 EXIT DDSL CUP ON PENALTIES
Our 12.5 team had an unlucky exit on penalties from the DDSL League Cup Semi-Final last night against Harolds Cross in Rosary Park in a very entertaining and even game,
Harolds Cross took a deserved 1-0 lead into halftime but St Kevins Boys dominated the second half and eventually scored from one of the many excellent Michael Finn corners with Dylan McGuinness slotting the ball home. Both teams tired in extra time but some excellent defending and goalkeeping kept the sides level Harolds Cross showed great penalty taking expertise with 4 of them going right into the bottom corner to take the game.
This defeat should not spoil an excellent season with the League title still within their grasp.
