Republic of Ireland win Victory Shield

The Republic of Ireland U16 side defeated Scotland U16 in their last game of this year's Victory Shield Tournament in Edinburgh today and having defeated Wales 4-0 on Sunday and Northern Ireland 2-1 on Tuesday they clinched the title in great style.

Congratulations to the four SKB players in the squad Kameron Ledwidge, Kian Clarke, Ray O'Sullivan and Ryan Cassidy who are pictured with the trophy and the rest of the players and management.

Congratulations to four members of our DDSL under 16 Premier team Kameron Ledwidge, Kian Clarke, Ray O'Sullivan and Ryan Cassidy on their selection for the Republic of Ireland under 16 squad for the forthcoming victory sheild tournament which takes place in Edinburgh from October 27th - November 4th. A few other members of our 16's squad can feel a little unlucky to be left out - such is the talent in this side.
